Over 60 years ago two United States hydrogen bombs fell by accident onto a field in North Carolina. The fact that they didn't detonate, and that the work of the disposal team didn't set them off, is absolutely amazing.

After I got over my awe that everyone survived, my writer's brain kicked in. I'd love to incorporate some of these details into a future book. Hmm...JC, you'd better watch out!
