Despite how it might appear, this is NOT a random arrangement of items. It’s actually the staging for the final confrontation between my hero and heroine, and the villain in my upcoming book WAR: Disruption.
The tissue box is a helicopter, the rectangular candles are SUVs, and the other objects are people. The hero, Max, is the dark green and white pen on top of the candle at the bottom. The heroine, Emily, is the green iPhone stylus in the upper left corner. All the other items are bad guys.
Don’t laugh. This exercise was a big help in figuring out everybody’s positions!
