It’s just now become dark here in California and even though our apartment complex doesn’t get trick-or-treaters, I’ve been in the Halloween mood this evening. So while I mixed up the latest back of homemade pumpkin bread, I’ve been listening to Halloween themed music.
Here are a few of my favorites:
The Monster Mash by Bobby “Boris” Pickett
This first version shows a bunch of old movie stills with the song in the background.

This second version is a live performance, in which Bobby Pickett makes a whole bunch of crazy faces during the performance. It’s from American Bandstand, so you also get to see a very young Dick Clark. The actual song doesn’t start until about the 1 minute mark.

Zombie Jamboree by The Kingston Trio.

The Original Ghostbusters Theme

And finally, the night wouldn’t be complete without the music video for Michael Jackson’s Thriller.

P.S. Don’t eat too much candy, and watch out for the spooks and monsters in the shadows. 😀
