I’m finally back home after attending the RWA conference in New York City a few weeks ago. As always, I had a fantastic time, but the conference is nonetheless exhausting, so I’m still catching up on my sleep. I’m slowly going through my photos and newly accumulated business cards as I uncover them.
Here’s a shot from my hotel room window overlooking Times Square. I was surprised that even twelve floors up, a lot of the street-level noise still filtered through the windows. Great when it was a mellow jazz saxophone. Not so great when it was sirens and car horns and other dissonance. Can you tell I’m not a city girl? LOL
