I just finished rewatching The Bourne Identity. While I love this movie, it bugs me no end that Jason Bourne never dons a disguise. He asks Marie if she has a hat to cover her hair, but doesn’t think to get himself a hat? Seriously? He’s got hit men on his tail. At least while he’s with Marie out in public he should put on a freaking hat. What self-respecting field officer isn’t going to follow that basic bit of spy craft? Jason remembers all the rest of his training, but not that?
Yeah, not buying it.
And if it was a decision made by the producers because they didn’t trust the audience to recognize Jason, then shame on them.
