In 2017, I was in California for the total solar eclipse. I was excited to see it, but the weather didn’t cooperate. I went to a local park but only caught a couple of glimpses of the sun through the clouds.

Yesterday, I was able to view the eclipse clearly from my side windows. I went outside to see the peak coverage, which here in western Massachusetts was around 95% and left a fingernail of the sun still visible. The quality and brightness of the light was definitely affected.

It was super cool!

P.S. Those of you of a certain age will know what song was playing in my head when I came up with the post’s title. 😉
