Did you or a beloved reader in your life receive a new mobile device for the holidays? Do you know that a subscription to Kobo Plus gives you unlimited access to their catalog of ebooks and audiobooks?
What’s Kobo Plus? Heck, what’s Kobo?
Kobo is an online book retailer based in Canada. Their name, Kobo, is an anagram of Book. That’s how committed they are to books. Unlike other retailers, you’re not going to be bombarded with ads for televisions or the latest beauty trend when surfing their website.
In addition to offering ebooks and audiobooks for sale, Kobo also has a monthly subscription option called Kobo Plus. While Kobo does sell its own line of ebook readers, you don’t need one in order to access Kobo Plus. Just download the app onto the device of your choice. Or you can read right in your browser.
I love Kobo as a company and I love my Kobo e-reader. I’ve used Kobo Plus and I highly recommend people give it a try. There’s a free 30-day trial. And, unlike some other monthly subscription services, authors can put their books into Kobo Plus without being forced to be exclusive to Kobo. This means that our books can still be for sale on other platforms.
All of my books are available through Kobo and Kobo Plus.
Watch this space later in January, as a bunch of Kobo Plus authors, myself included, will be running a Kobo Plus promotion.
Note: I am not a Kobo Plus affiliate. I won’t earn anything if you sign up. I just think it’s a great program.
