I just finished the final book in Brigid Kemmerer’s Defy series. Destroy the Day was a very satisfying conclusion to this fantasy series. Highly recommended.
And because I try not to read more than one book from a specific genre in a row, I’ve switched to science fiction and am re-reading the second Murderbot Diaries book, Artificial Condition, by Martha Wells. If you’ve been following me for a while you’ll know how much I love Murderbot!
Next up will be book six in Faith Hunter’s Soulwood series, Rift in the Soul. This is set in the same urban fantasy world as her Jane Yellowrock series and there are mentions and sometimes appearances from those characters. I really enjoy this series and look forward to seeing what’s in store this time for Nell and the gang.
