If you have children that you need to talk to about grief and death, then I highly recommend the picture-book The Invisible Parade by Leigh Bardugo and John Picacio.

It’s a sweet, gentle story centered around Día de Muertos.

Book cover for The Invisible Parade by Leigh Bardugo and John Picacio. Death, wearing a cloak of black feathers, rides a grey horse that is leaping from a sunset to the stars. There is a young girl with bobbed dark hair and a red scarf riding behind death.
