I just started writing in my newest journal, after filling two others.

In order to set it up, I had to do math. Not a big deal for someone who minored in math in college, but not something I’d expected to need for starting a new journal.

Cartoon. A woman sits at a wooden desk. An open notebook lies face up on the desk in front of her. The pages are blank. Simple equations float above her head as she attempts to figure out how many pages she needs to allocate to each section of the journal.

However, despite my best calculations, last time I ran out of pages for some sections and had too much space for other sections.

So this time, I recalculated how many pages to leave for each section.

I’m crossing my fingers that this time, each section fills neatly without spilling over to another section.
