Today the temperature got into the high 60s Fahrenheit. When I walked past the local college, the students were out in tank tops and bathing suits, sunbathing on the lawn.
A sure sign that spring is here.
And yet…tomorrow it’s going to be 20° colder.
During the winter, upper 40s seemed like a heat wave. Now it seems cold.
How quickly our mindset adjusts.
Of course, hot and cold are completely subjective. As I walked past all those sun-worshipping students? I was wearing a turtleneck with a long sleeved t-shirt underneath it. Seeing the students with so much skin exposed made me feel cold. I need it to be 90F at least before wearing a tank top doesn’t make me shiver.
