Write What You Know

One of the pieces of advice that floats around writers’ circles is to write what you know.

These past few months, Massachusetts has been hit by an unusually high number of thunderstorms and received record rain.

So, of course, what’s dominating my writing these days? Storms!

There’s rain. High winds. Turbulent seas. Thunder. Lightning.
