I have a free month of Amazon Prime and while searching for something else, I stumbled across a TV show called The Librarians.
It’s set in a version of our world where magic exists but is secret. It’s got a group of geniuses who are responsible for keeping magic out of the hands of the bad guys. It has all the tropes and lore references I could ask for.
Most importantly, while the show has strong character development and some dramatic moments, overall, it doesn’t take itself seriously.
I’m really enjoying it. And I just discovered that there were three movies ahead of this series. All of which my library has in DVD format. So, once my Prime membership runs out, I’ll be able to continue watching. 😀
