I saw a headline on one of the local online news sites a week or so ago that promised to answer the question of why the San Francisco Bay Area hadn’t had an extended heat wave this year.
Well, it’s 112F as I write this. We’re in the middle of a heat wave that isn’t expected to let up until next weekend (it’s Monday afternoon as I write this.) Plus, the power just cut off.
So thanks, unknown headline writer. You sure jinxed us!
