I don’t like spoilers. So when I recently decided to give the series WandaVision a try on Disney+, I didn’t know much about it. I didn’t even know it was part of the Marvel universe until I saw the opening credits.

This is what I thought I was getting....

A black and white image of a white woman with crimped chin length hair and a man who is dark skinned with geometric markings on his face

...which was why I was so resistant to watching it. Fifties sitcoms aren’t really where my interests lie right now.

But someone recommended Agatha All Along, which spun off of WandaVision. So I figured I should watch WandaVision first.

To my surprise and delight, the series took several sharp turns and ended up like this.

Poster for the television series WandaVision featuring a man with red skin and a blonde woman holding a ball of magical energy

But what really made this a plus in my book were the tug-on-your-heartstrings moments.

Highly recommended!
