The Automatic Floor Cleaner

This weekend, I saw something I’d never seen before.

An automatic floor cleaning machine.

I stayed out of its path, but it did stop and wait when it encountered another shopper’s cart.

I was a bit surprised that the store had let this cleaner loose in the middle of the day. Because, as techie as I am, I still don’t trust anything that’s computerized not to malfunction at the exact worst time.

But, since I didn’t hear any screams of alarm while I was shopping, I suppose this unit performed as expected and didn’t run anyone over. 😉
